Digital Painting & Creative Process
What is digital painting?
Digital painting is a fully-fledged artistic medium that uses a graphic tablet and stylus instead of a brush and canvas. The gesture is that of a painter: building, layering, nuancing. The tools are digital, but the approach remains fundamentally artistic.
Contrary to what is sometimes imagined, it is not about retouching a photo or letting software generate an image.
Each work is created from scratch, layer by layer, with the same intentions as a traditional painting. Digital painting has nothing to do with AI-generated imagery: no AI, no algorithm. Every image is the result of a human gesture, an intention built by hand.
What makes your works so distinctive?
It is not one single language speaking here, but three intertwining.
The work begins by hand: a drawing, an intention traced on paper, before even touching the screen. Then comes the transition to digital, where the composition takes shape. Paint is applied layer by layer. And finally, graphic effects add depth, relief and a texture you would not expect to find in an image born on a tablet.
It is neither quite traditional art, nor quite digital painting. It is the fusion of both, with graphic design as a third element. A signature born from several languages, where rigor, instinct and emotion come together.
How do you create your works?
My works are born from an entirely digital process, on a graphic tablet. I work from original compositions, built layer by layer, with the same attention to light, textures and contrasts as in a traditional practice.
The digital medium gives me a freedom of gesture and exploration that I have chosen as a fully-fledged artistic language, not as a shortcut.

Prints & Supports
What print supports do you offer?
I exclusively offer superior-quality print supports: Fine Art paper and canvas. The available options, along with the proposed dimensions, are listed on each artwork page at the time of ordering.
If you are looking for a specific size, support, or an option not listed, feel free to contact me. Depending on the artwork and printing possibilities, I will suggest the most appropriate solution.
What advice can you give for choosing the size and format of a work?
To choose the right dimension, think first about viewing distance. The larger the wall, the more the work can breathe at a large format.
Also consider the surrounding space. A work often gains presence when it is not too close to furniture.
Finally, trust your intuition. The most fitting work is often the one that naturally imposes itself.
Do you offer personalization options for the works?
Yes, certain options are available at the time of ordering, depending on the work.
You can choose the dimension and print support, Fine Art paper or canvas, to adapt the work to your space.
And if you have a specific request, feel free to contact me. Depending on the work and printing possibilities, I will let you know what can be done.
Why can some colors vary in print?
Variations can occur between what you see on screen and the printed result.
The most common causes are your screen calibration, ambient lighting, and the chosen support, Fine Art paper or canvas, which do not interact with light in the same way. Even with an identical original file, ink absorption and light reflection differ between supports, influencing the final result.
It is also normal to observe differences from one device to another, computer, phone, tablet, as each screen has its own settings, technology and age.
I cover this further in the blog article: From digital to print – Mastering color space.
Are the works in limited edition?
Some works are offered as unique pieces or in limited editions, and are gathered in the Trésors d’Art collection. When this is the case, it is specified on the artwork page, and the number of prints is indicated, so you know clearly the context of the work.
Other works are offered as open editions, but always printed on Fine Art paper or canvas, with the same standards of rendering and preservation.
Are the works accompanied by a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
It attests that the work was created by me and that it is an original creation.
The certificate is issued in digital format, as a JPEG, and sent by email, ready to be stored digitally. Each certificate is associated with a unique number and recorded in an internal register.
It is issued and sent after the order, so that the final information related to the work, in particular the chosen support and dimensions, can be included.
For works from the Trésors d’Art collection, the certificate also specifies the unique or limited nature of the work, as applicable.
Orders & Delivery
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times vary depending on the chosen support and destination.
After adding a work to your cart, simply enter your address in the order summary: shipping costs and the estimated delivery time are then displayed, before the final confirmation of your order.
How should I care for my work after printing?
To preserve your work, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and damp rooms.
On Fine Art paper, a UV-protective frame is an excellent option, especially if the work is displayed in a bright room.
On canvas, gentle dusting with a soft, dry cloth is sufficient, without any product or moisture.
